Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“HALIVIQ”, “we”) for using HALIVIQ Play (“the app”). By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Some stories may not suit everyone; ratings are shown in the App Store.

2. Your account

Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

3. What’s free and what’s paid

• Every story’s teaser and its first 5 episodes are free.
• From episode 6, you need Plus+ (a subscription) or a pass. A Story Pass unlocks a whole story; an Episode Pass unlocks one episode.
• Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are charged by Apple in your local currency.

4. Plus+ subscription

• Plus+ comes as a weekly, monthly or yearly plan, billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app before you subscribe.
• It renews automatically unless you turn off auto‑renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before it ends.
• Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus+ until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change the price, Apple will tell you before you’re charged at the new price.

5. Passes

Passes are a licence to unlock content in the app. They have no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and stay linked to your account. Passes our support team gives you as an apology follow the same rules.

6. Refunds

All purchases are made through Apple, so Apple decides refunds under its own policies. You can ask from the app (Profile → Purchases & refunds) or at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, we remove what it gave you (for example unused passes or Plus+).

7. Using the app fairly

Please don’t copy, record, download, share or resell our videos outside the app; try to get around locks or payments; use bots or scrapers; or harass other people. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

8. Reporting content

If something in the app seems wrong, unsafe or uses your work without permission, tap ••• → Report this story while watching, or contact us. Copyright owners can also write to info@haliviq.app with details of the work and where it appears.

9. Creators

If you upload series as a creator, you also agree that:

• You own the content or have every right needed to publish it, including the rights of everyone who appears in it and any music used.
• Your content follows our rules: no sexual content involving minors, no illegal content, no other apps’ watermarks, covers show a real person’s face, and every series is uploaded complete before it goes live.
• You give HALIVIQ a worldwide, non‑exclusive licence to host, stream, promote (for example teasers and covers in the app and our marketing) and show your series in the app while it is published, and for a reasonable time after you remove it to finish ongoing views.
• We review series before publishing (with help from automated and AI checks) and may decline, remove or take a series offline.
• Any payment to creators is set out in a separate written agreement with you.

10. Our content

The app, its design and the HALIVIQ name belong to HALIVIQ. Stories belong to us or their creators. Using the app doesn’t give you ownership of anything in it.

11. Changes and availability

We may change the app, its catalogue and these terms. Stories can come and go. If we change these terms in an important way, we’ll tell you in the app; continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.

12. Disclaimers and limits

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unexpected losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

13. Apple

These terms are between you and HALIVIQ, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is a third‑party beneficiary of these terms.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], United States, except where the law of your country says otherwise.
